(623 00) Achladochori - Unnamed Road

Beautiful place in the middle of nature by a small lake (water reservoir) and a great view of the valley. The access road is a paved gravel road and easy to drive on. Shade only in the afternoon, but tables under trees and a large grill. Drinking water tap with good pressure! 4G reception. Two waterfalls can be reached on foot (Artemis 5min, Kapnofyto 30min) and good for swimming. Very quiet during the week, rarely a few locals (they are all super helpful and many speak German). A few day tourists at the weekend but they don't stay long. There are also toilets in the village that can be opened on request. A lot of things are changing for the better in the village and the surrounding area (younger people who have moved back to Kapnofyto) and the locals look after this place, so please behave respectfully. No garbage cans, so take your own garbage with you!!
