There’s a wonderful park up before the dam of the Euphrates river. If you come from the south, turn right just after the traffic control point and go through the little village. The road will become very narrow and a little steep at one stage, but no problem at all for our 2WD, 7m Van. Some very friendly locals came by and invited us for dinner and Cay. During the day you can hear the main road slightly but other than that, just enjoy the many birds, fish, frogs and turtle. And of course there are mosquitoes. The spot is on a little slope, so I would recommend some kind of ramp (sandboards, stones). Good LTE internet.
