Kakareo Camp is more than a place: it's a heartbeat in the heart of Extremadura. Founded in 1992 by my father, it continues to thrive as a refuge for those seeking peace, connection, and authenticity. Here, there is no stress. There is a fire under the stars, genuine laughter, leisurely reading, ideas taking root, and sunsets that reconcile you with life. Here, we share, respect each other, and love the land. Pancho the donkey welcomes you with nobility. Justa and Rufina graze freely, reminding us that calm is possible. The hens, queens of the camp, lay eggs that taste of freedom. Vegetable garden, cool shade, barbecue, beanbag chairs, hammocks… We offer accommodation with two cozy bedrooms and a super cute caravan, perfect for mindful dreamers. We also offer volunteer opportunities for those who want to contribute, learn, and be part of this vibrant community. We are in the heart of Extremadura, 5 km from Almoharín—land of figs and fig chocolates. Neighbors of Montánchez, where the ham is pure poetry. Just 30 minutes from Mérida, Trujillo, and Cáceres.
