Parking at the end of the La Lancha road (gravel and caving but passable) famous among lynx watchers. The parking lot is right next to the dam. Good shade in the afternoon from large eucalyptus trees. The parking lot is quite popular on weekends but no one stayed overnight in March. A lovely little walk starts right from the car park - great for bird watching and watching the ibexes on the rocks. For bird watching, you can also cross the dam and walk along the road. There are turtles in the lake. If you are in this area to watch lynx, this is a perfect place. Just a 15 minute drive towards the farms and the main road, there are three lookouts for spotting lynx (if you're lucky). We only saw one during our stay. Other wildlife such as deer, fallow deer and bighorn sheep are present. The Spanish Imperial Eagle is also possible from the lookouts. Definitely, a perfect place, especially if you are a nature lover. The parking lot is spacious enough even for several large motorhomes. There are no services, no water source and no trash can. You must be completely independent to enjoy this place.
