(1813) Aranisi - Unnamed Road

We stayed there for two nights - it's a place with a perfect view on the lake (from up hill). The place is rarely used by travelers to take a break or visit the little church next to the parking spot. So it's very close to the road. But it's almost quiet in the nighttime (we stayed on weekdays in August 2023) and okay during the daytime, when you park between the church and the lake. It was one of our highlight spots in Georgia because there was a nice breeze in the hot summer climate, no mosquitos and a stunning view of the lake! Also very private, when you park your van with the doors facing the nature behind the church. We got visited by a friendly dog and once by a really nice old man, who owns the little House down the hill. He gifted us apples from his garden and we had a nice chat about his life story. The police drove by twice and didn't stop or seemed to have a problem with us staying there. Since it's quite up hill I imagine it could be too cold in the winter time, but it's perfect for the warmer months.
