(13200) Arles - 25 Boulevard Georges Clemenceau

So it’s called the parking of Boulevard Clemenceau. It is the closest I found to the city center. 2 min away from the tourist information. There is a specific way to stay in that parking lot : You have to come at 2:30 pm the Saturday afternoon and wait. There is a local market in the morning and all the cars have to go, so you have time and space to park properly. The parking is free from 3pm the Saturday afternoon. There is one spot that is golden. It’s in between a tree and a lamppost. No cars can come too close to you. It’s feels unsafe, and the first day I came back 4 times because of all the reviews of the spots in Arles. But this spot is right next to a Moroccan coffee/tea place opened till 1 am ( slightly noisy the Saturday night) but all the retired people of the neighborhood linger right in front of the parking lot. I don’t want to say there isn’t any risk, but when you show up, be sure to come and take a tea at the place, show yourself and be friendly. I stayed free days. Be prepared before you come, water, electricity.
