(BN18) Arundel - London Road

A quite road, especially at night (despite being called the old 'London Road'), unrestricted parking on South side. Suggest park by high boundary wall of Arundel castle's estate with the thick hedge of the very impressive cathedral church on the other side (has benches in the grounds & illuminated architecture). No disturbance there to, or from, houses. Seems many spare parking spaces free in evenings. Very nice pub there, to make a pilgrimage to (St Marys Gate Inn). Convenient for walks to centre. Probably best suited to campervan widths.
