Flat gravel car park with quite a few spaces down from the now closed Carrick forest drive road. Very scenic spot fantastic views of the Loch, stream and forests all around. Tranquil, quiet and totally in nature. Spot gets busy with hikers but no signs against over night parking. Please take your rubbish with you as there was a problem with littering in the past around the area, we want to keep Galloway forest open!
