Quiet behind a small ridge: A plateau has been created on the old cart track where it intersects with the R106, which is ideal for resting or spending the night. The cart track further into the valley also ends at the R106, but is not passable from there. No turning around. So stay up there! The small ridge between the new road and the old path provides good protection from sight and noise. Had a very quiet night. No network reception at the site itself, only 50m down the path. Leave room for any pack animals!
