(2687) Bøverdalen - Leirdalsvegen

Fantastic view of the mountains, with a fast-flowing mountain river nearby and a rocky path to enjoy the scenery. There are fire pits and a wide, cozy clearing. A quiet (toll) road runs next to it. The road leads to a lake, where there are leisure activities (hiking, canoeing – though there was still some ice), but no settlements nearby. We rode our bikes to explore the lake. Sheep graze around and sometimes come to have a look. We were there at the end of June – the nights were cool. It's a spot worth visiting. There are plenty of great wild camping spots along this road.
