(BT54 6RN) Ballycastle - 188 Cushendall Rd

Ballypatrick Forest Temporary Car Park whilst tree harvesting is undertaken. Flat surface just off the main A2 Cushendall Road, quite quiet and overnight stay available, no height barrier. Car park has no facilities but is level, solid dirt track and surrounded by trees which provide cover and shade. No bins but there was a big skip on site to dispose of litter. There are bins further down the A2 road at the original Forest carpark. Stayed here for two nights, able to sit out in the evening with fire pit and chairs.
