Located in an industrial area, we found a road with no parking restrictions. Contrary to our plans, we arrived in Banff a day early and didn't have a campsite one night, so we decided to park on the gravel shoulder of an uninhabited, remote road. Of course, you can hear the train, just like you can hear it at the tunnel campground. A bakery is open 100 meters away on weekdays, where you can get breakfast. There are no restrooms either. However, a dumping station with fresh water is not far down the road. We're parked near the CrossFit studio, which is also closed on weekends.
