(4070) Basel - St. Alban-Rheinweg

Paid Short term parking area. Parallel parking Designated by blue lines. 3hr limit 8am - 7pm Mon- Sat. I parked here 7:30 pm and stayed overnight. Right on the river. Very quiet and was not bothered. Cyclists and joggers in the morning. I have 6.5m x 220 self contained unit. I was worried that I was bit wide. I’m right in the curb on the inside and hung over the blue line a tad. Not blocking traffic, so worked for me. I even saw a police car in the morning (after 8am), they were parked up the street and then they were gone. It is mid January, so Basel is a bit sleepy now. It’s after 8am, still very quiet, having my coffee in the tree lined median as I type this. There is another parking area up a couple of blocks. Pull in parking, closer to bridge and more wooded feel. I felt I would be too long for those spots so opted to stay here. Hope this helps someone! Cheers.
