(BT9 5EX) Belfast - Stranmillis Gardens

Free parking near the river hiking trail with bike path and children's playground. Pretty long pitches. During the day there is quite a lot of traffic, but after 8pm the traffic reduces and at night (we were there during the week) hardly any vehicles pass. On Sunday evening the fully occupied parking lots emptied and we were left alone. Unfortunately, a lot of traffic and loud pedestrians until tomorrow at two. We chose to sleep here because the parking lots in the center of town were neither safe nor convenient for us to stay overnight
