Wonderful route to Ushguli over the Zagari Pass. 4x4 and high clearance needed, at least when I was driving Oct 1 due to extended mud fields :) much much fun route and stuuuuunning views on the mountains. Totally recommended. A few road workers, but nothing that stops the drive. Took me about 4hrs to Ushguli with lots of picture stops.
