De Nieuwe Drenck

In March 2016 we, the Van Bovene family, bought De Nieuwe Drenck with the aim of realizing a nice mini campsite with contemporary facilities and a cozy pancake house with a large terrace, large sand playground and petting zoo. It was all very outdated and there was a lot of deferred maintenance. In five years we have already achieved a lot, such as closing the barn with tarpaulin. If the weather is a bit less, a reserved party in the form of a barbecue afternoon or evening can still take place. We have also renovated the sanitary building at the campsite with underfloor heating, new shower facilities and new sanitary facilities. Electricity cabinets and the groundwater system have also been renewed. Wi-Fi is now also available. Jeu des Boules courts have been created. We have also renovated the pancake house. It has become much more spacious inside and there are new toilets. Wi-Fi is also available on the terrace. We also work in an environmentally friendly way. We use biomass boilers, LED lighting, an underground waste container and bins for separated waste, such as cans, plastic, paper and glass. The new terrace is paved and easily accessible for wheelchairs. This is a small selection of all the innovations we have realized over the past four years
