Be cautious about the northern road: while it leads to the turbines, it ends with a security checkpoint where you must turn back. However, there’s a small drive-off to the north suitable for four-wheel drive vehicles. The southern road is easier to navigate. ✅ Accessibility: Though I couldn’t find it on the map, locals mentioned an alternate road from the north. I met a group who arrived in a regular car (Volkswagen Caddy), so this route is accessible to standard vehicles. They were super friendly and even invited me to join their picnic and enjoy traditional Turkish flatbread (minced meat, flat bread and chai). The people here are incredibly welcoming. Note: The spot is peaceful, offers stunning views of the lake, and is perfect for relaxing or picnicking and spending the night.
