(PA7 5NA) Bishopton - 52 Gatehead Drive

There are several very flat and mostly gravel parking spaces here at the start of a woodland walk area. This is not a marked hiking trail site per se, but appears on Google Maps as "Wester Rossland Woods". It was very rainy in this area for a few weeks and parking was always great and not muddy or uneven. The road is not used as a through road, so I had an overnight car pass and another before noon. Extremely silent, woken up by birdsong and nothing else. I would say a real gem as everything else here is just off a main road. Since it's not a true starting point, please respect the locals and only use it for a quiet easy night, but not to set up camping gear or stay for multiple days. 3 bars of 4G on EE cell service. No trash cans or other facilities - don't leave trash or toilet paper, that's how places like these end up getting off limits!
