Djupvik camping

Welcome to Djupvik's camping in Öland! We offer a fantastic scenic, tranquil little camping right in the edge of Kalmarsund, 23km north of Borgholm, between Äleklinta and Sandvik. The campsite is very simple - here is a pump of fresh water and dryclosets, just like when the campsite started in the early 50's. We do not have any electricity places (you are referring to your gasoline or spirits) and you do not have a shower - but let a tap of water stand in the sun for a while to get hot water to wash and wash. Swim in the sound as it is a few steps away. In Djupvik the beach is filled with soft-cut poppy stones and the bottom slowly slopes towards deeper water. A piece out into the water is met by a soft sandy bottom. A few hundred meters north is the bathing pier for those who want to step straight into the sand. When you arrive at the campsite you can park your tent or caravan where you will find a suitable place. There are no marked places, but keep a courtesy and fire-proof distance to your neighbor. Daily fee: 100kr (cyclists, walkers and lone tents pay less). Nearby you will find Djupvik By The Sea restaurant where you enjoy both coffee, lunch and a la carte with wonderful views of sunday and sunset.
