The square under the viaduct, at the front there is parking for local buses, taxis and cars, at the back there is still plenty of space where you can leave your car and explore the town. I think spending the night is not a problem either. If you go along the river 200m north and there is a small bazaar with local goods. As the bazaar ends there is another small car park where you can stand.
