A small site by the lake, surrounded by small birch trees, with a fire pit (fires prohibited from April 15th to September 15th) and access to the water. It is easily visible from the road across the road. Passing cars can be clearly heard. You do have your privacy, though. The gravel road on the other side of the lake is quiet at night. From around 7 a.m. onward, there's more traffic, and the peace and quiet is over. The access road is uneven, with deep potholes, and quite narrow; the final section to the site is a slight uphill climb. Ground clearance is a must! Four-wheel drive isn't absolutely necessary, only in heavy rain and muddy conditions. Not suitable for large or wide vehicles; there's no turning area! If you're worried about your paintwork, don't drive there; bushes scratch the sides along the road. The road is a dead end, with another parking space at the end. The surrounding area is swampy, so be careful in bad weather and off the trail!
