(LD3 7PX) Brecon - Unnamed Road

!!RESTRICTED WIDTH ACCESS!! The entrance road past the church is narrow - I would not attempt with vans wider than 2.1m (7ft). Little (but level) carpark on the shores of Llyn Syfaddan (Llangors Lake). Space for a couple of vans. Although would recommend first pulling in at the church and walk the 50m to carpark incase it’s busy as would need to turn at the church if carpark full. Expect acts as overflow for the church so probably one to avoid in Sundays. There is no access to the lake from here as it is a protected wildlife area, however there is a small area in front of the carpark with picnic benches looking out towards the water. There are public footpaths starting from near the entrance to the carpark, and it is possible to walk a loop back to the carpark. About 50m up from the carpark is a small church (Saint Gastyn’s) which is open to the public.
