This is a lay-by on what was the old A1. There used to be a transport cafe opposite and the village was bypassed in the sixties but the lay-by remains. A few residents use it for parking but there’s always spaces for the odd camper. It’s a minutes walk from 2 hotels, a pub and shops and right next to historic Buckden Toweres.
