Serra Voltorera Wind Farm. 11 potential spots to camp. About 10 minutes, 4km up a dirt/concrete road from Cabra del Camp. When coming in to Cabra del Camp from the South, Google Maps will suggest you take a sharp right, almost a u-turn, do not go this way, continue on Carrer Major and take the next right, there will be a signpost to the Parc Eòlic. The road up is gravel and concrete pads around bends and slopes. Some of the road is washed out, especially after storms. 4x4 beneficial but not necessary. 7.5m max recommended length. No access, parking, or overnight restrictions. Welcome sign at top of climb has other restrictions (low speed, no fire, etc...). I validated the first three spots, after that the road got a bit steeper to get up a ridge, so probably better for smaller vehicles after that. 1st turbine is good if it's windy as it's more sheltered at the base, it also has a larger flat pad next to the base for a group. 2nd and 3rd have incredible views, but are not sheltered. The noise of the turbines didn't bother me, but your experience may vary. Check the weather! Obviously it can get VERY windy up here, so validate that first. And basic safety precautions: no leveling blocks, no camping, front facing exit, not blocking access for maintenance or emergency vehicles, ready to move if needed - slight risk inherent to these locations. Technicians came while I was here, asked if they needed me to move or if I was a bother, all was fine.
