(DG7 1BE) Castle Douglas - 1 Market Street

Town centre carpark with clean toilets,bins and recycling point. A Garage just around the corner and some lovely restaurants. Slightly off level but the spaces in the centre are flat. Slight noise from passing traffic but it’s a 30 zone Both sides so quiet enough to sleep. The odd local nob’Ed does a drive by with a stupid exhaust on but that’s expected in any town these days sadly when they’ve nowt better to do. Seams a safe place. Lovely park and gardens down by the lake with seats around for a picnic which is about a nice 20 minute walk west through the long high street which has loads of shops both sides. Quite a few pubs have shut and I think this carpark may have a market day where parking maybe restricted. There’s no parking restrictions here.
