(P47 KV48) Castledonovan - Unnamed road

Small gravel parking lot next to Castledonovan Castle, the former stronghold of the O'Donovan clan in the heart of the valley. This space is small, with capacity for 6-8 cars. Out of respect for the surroundings and to avoid overloading the already small parking lot, it's recommended that no more than two campervans or motorhomes park at a time, although it's usually empty during this season. Access is via a very quiet country road, with few cars passing. The surroundings are quiet and natural, with the ruin in the background. A place steeped in history, surrounded by countryside, ideal for resting and spending the night in absolute tranquility. There are no services.
