We parked overnight in the overflow parking lot at McHugh's. We saw a few campervans parked there, and the staff confirmed that we could stay for free and use the restrooms if they were open. As a thank you, we bought a few drinks at the pub and took a taxi to Galway that evening, which cost us about €20. Parking for campervans in Galway isn't good. However, there's a good bus connection to the city center, Eyre Square, route 427, for €9.00 return. The bus stops right in front of McHugh's Pub. Hail the bus by hailing it.
