(01920) Ceyhan - Yilankale Yolu

Free, paved parking for Yılankale (The serpent’s castle). The car park is next to a cafe and is as far as you can drive. It is at the base of the steps to visit the castle itself. Access: at the bottom of the slope (a kilometre from the main road) there is a barrier, closing off the access road overnight. The sign says it is raised at 9am and lowered at 4pm in winter and 6pm in summer. Good to know: it wasn’t raised until 9:40am the morning we visited.
