Free parking, in a beautiful location by the river EO, with river plauge and canoe launching. ( For larger vans park in the main square carpark, before the road to enter the recreativa, this has space for several larger vehicles. ) There's lovely mature trees and grass picnic area, with stone table's and benches and built-in barbeques for use; except in summer. Toilets, and cold open air showers. Small children's playground, and exercise machines. The campervan black water disposal is around the corner and up the hill beyond bar Horacio by the municipal buildings. The recreativa is on the edge of a small village with, 2 bars year round bars and a good restaurant/ bar Horacio that also has a basic convenience store attached. The hotel, bar, restaurant Miridor de Barcia is only 5 minutes walk down the other side of the river. There a a couple of small shops; small DIY store, and lovely local baker with wood fired oven, on the far side of town before you go up the hill towards Meira . There is also a small medical centre and pharmacy a couple of doors down which is useful. There are lovely walks directly from the village in all directions. Please be respectful and leave no trace. Also ensure there's always space for locals to park, as differently abled people come to enjoy this beautiful place.
