On the edge of the D 468 which goes from Chaussin (39) towards Lons Le Saunier (39), in Jura Bresse is the town of Chaumergy. Just at the entrance to this village, coming from Chaussin, there is a small, clearly visible communal pond. There is shade but no service. Super quiet place for picnic or for 1 night. No height limit, large vehicle OK, about 3 seats. Respect the place well otherwise the municipality will close it!! Small supermarket in the village, bakery, fuel, pharmacy, restaurant.
