(SK8 1HT) Cheadle - Bruntwood Ln

Hidden gem (in plain sight), Bruntwood Park. Free to park here, zero height restrictions. Surround greenery, here there is a public recreational area, it includes a BMX track, children’s play ground, a pitch n putt golf park. The car park is free from 8pm to 9:30am, then it’s only £4 for a full day of parking. It’s great place to walk a dog, there are woods and an old mansion (now a hotel) to walk around. It’s generally peaceful, however it’s under the flight path of Manchester Airport. So there were a few plans flying overhead during the night, but I slept through it :) - additionally, there’s a public swimming pool only a short drive from here, Life Leisure Cheadle. Option for showers and swimming here. There are two entrances, use the entrance on ‘Schools Hill’ road, opposite ‘The Downs’ road.
