This is an ideal spot if visiting Cheltenham. Free parking for 4 hours only, from 8am to 8pm. After 8pm there are no restrictions. Spaces could be limited during the day, but worth a try. At night it is extremely quiet and there is a lot of availability where we were and nearer the pond. 10 minute walk to heart of city; you could also walk to the racecourse. We parked close to the Central Cross Cafe, which serves excellent coffee, pastries and cakes. Good play-park by pond and lovely park to walk around. Scooters for hire by cafe.
