(S41 7TP) Chesterfield - 26-28 Corporation Street

Car park at the end of a dead end road, free between 6.30pm and 8.00am. No signs forbidding overnight or anything else. Near dual carriageway but situated high above it and behind a wall so traffic noise is muffled. I stayed here for a night on 20/10/2023 when Storm Babet floods made further travel impossible. It's not a scenic spot but it's great for Chesterfield centre, or as an overnight stop to break up a long journey. It's better than it looks in my photo. I didn't get one in daylight as I left at 5am.
