(P85) Counlough -

This pull is a bit more than just a passing place on the side of the road, so i can't see it being an issue to park in. It's not very level with some extruding rocks, but with some clever manoeuvring, I reckon it's possible to get almost level. Otherwise, ramps may be needed. I wouldn't recommend going past this point in anything too long. Slightly tucked out-of-the-way of the wind. And just enough room to turn a campervan around. But roads are narrow leading up, so suggest just small vans only and do not attempt this road if you can not reverse as there are very few passing places and many tight bends. You'll soon start pissing the locals off if people who can't drive attempt it. Amazing views just around the next corner. The site is litter free and I'm sure the locals wouldn't mind the occasional small van parking up to enjoy a lonely spot out of shot of any houses for the night as long as it stays that way.
