I refueled at the gas station and asked if I could stay overnight. They readily agreed and showed me where the restrooms were if I needed them. The staff was very friendly, and the parking area was level and clean, although being next to one of the city's main thoroughfares, the traffic noise was constant. Given the lack of alternatives, it's a good place to sleep before exploring the city the next day. During the day, we parked the campervan at the nearby shopping center.
