Kappelen is a welcome mountain break from the heat of Vienna. The site is located on a disused railway line that has been converted to a manicured cycle route with several adjacent walking routes of varying degrees of difficulty. The site is well maintained and is sited adjacent to the old station building. The site is family run from the station building which at first seems closed as the entrance is from the rail side. There is a cafe and bar and the owners are very accommodating. A worthy stop indeed
