Welcome to CampaTilia, our family-run eco-campsite! We are Vincent and Jade, along with our two young sons. After traveling around Europe as a family, we settled on a large, wooded plot of land near the EuroVelo 6 cycle route, the canal, and the Loire River. The idea spontaneously arose to create an eco-friendly tourist accommodation here. It's actually a former campsite that was abandoned for over 20 years. Don't be surprised, there's still some work underway... but soon it will be the campsite of our dreams... the one we wish we had found during our travels! But since we're eager to meet you, chat, and share our region with you, we are now offering pitches for campervans and tents at CampaTilia. We offer: - A shaded area with open seating (maximum 6 spaces) - Electrical hookups with plugs (European P17 and French / 220V-5A max.) - Accessible taps with hoses - 1 dry toilet - 1 summer shower (hot water) available from March 15th - Large open spaces, ideal for children - An eco-responsible approach (waste sorting, composting, promoting biodiversity, etc.) - A place close to nature. You'll also have the chance to meet our animals: sheep, a donkey, a pony, chickens, and cats… and observe the local wildlife: birds, hedgehogs, squirrels, and more. Your campsite is ideally located: - 100 m from the canal and the EuroVelo 6 cycle path - 800 m from the Loire River - 1.5 km from the town center of Diou (mini-market, excellent bakery, newsagent) - 12 km from Le PAL amusement and animal park - Close to Dompierre (and its indoor swimming pool), Digoin, Bourbon-Lancy, Moulins, Vichy, and more - Near numerous activities (canoe and bicycle rentals, etc.) Rates: During the construction period, we are offering the site at a pay-what-you-want price.
