Dead end street off main road, so traffic noise, but 100mtrs away & not disturbing for us. Overlooks River Mole, five meters away . Canoe launch possible from high concrete bridge platform. Next to river footbridge that leads to footpaths onto large Box Hill nature reserve, (a steep climb to summit offers great views). Nice riverbank footpath to Watermill pub, cross bridge & turn left; 10 minutes By a large garden center, with toilets, which opens 9am. Caffe with sunny patio by river No hot meals, but good value (coffee & cake £5). Food shop with wines, but no fresh supplies like bread & milk. Poor mobile reception, but free wifi accessible from garden-center car park. Might also check-out the alternative parking spot on other side of the footbridge (access down narrow road). Slightly quieter & in countryside, but no river view. Not too much litter; Rent paid with 52 items to car-park's waste bin.
