A well lit spot on this one way street overlooking Dover Castle. It is a few metres from the BP fuel station with shop for essentials. A 3mins walk into high street for Wetherspoon or called Eight Bells, Aspendos restaurant, St James shopping place. Parking is limited to one hour during the day on Effingham Street. You should approach the street from Effingham Crescent to get more room when turning in. Not recommended to come in from Norman Street if your vehicle is 7m or more. After 5.30pm is free to park until 8.30am the next morning. Ideal for sleep over arriving at 5pm and catching a ferry at around 7am the next morning. Sunday free to park all day with no restrictions. There is a bin mid way on the street, so keep our street tidy please. The best spot to park is on the right with Saxon Street on your left. If you have time, visit the seafront or even follow the White Cliff walk to have tea at the South Foreland Lighthouse. Park run every Saturday at 9am on the seafront. Give Dover a thumbs up!
