On the 910 (coming from Lagarfljot) at the coordinates N64.8888221 W15.3960504 in the direction of Kelduarlon (signpost) turn left and follow the now paved road. At the Kelduarlon reservoir, continue towards the Saudarvatn reservoir and turn right before this dam. After the 13 km of asphalt road up to this point, approx. 1 km of gravel road follows. Before going down to a water management system, turn right again and drive 50 m. The short gravel stretch can also be used with normal mobile homes. From the place on the plateau there is a magnificent view of the Vatnajökull and Snaefell glaciers as well as the plateau with the lakes.
