The well-maintained meadow, exclusively available to one camper, is part of the grounds of our house (formerly a forester's lodge), measures over 500 square meters, and is mowed weekly. Located on the outskirts of Engen (Konstanz district) (1 km from the center), it offers a unique view of Engen and the Hohenhewen mountain range. Since March 23: The pitch is now paved over a length of over 30 meters and can therefore be accessed easily all year round (see last photo). Due to their size, converted coaches will reach your/our limits when accessing it. Lake Constance is a 15-20-minute drive away, and the train (RE or Seehas) takes barely longer (Radolfzell - Engen from 19 minutes). The Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen can be reached by car in just under 30 minutes. A short hike to the Ice Age Park Engen or the new, extensive premium hiking trail "Hegau Vulkan Tour" can be started near the spot. You can also start your bike tour right from our house, for example, towards Lake Constance, on quiet back roads through beautiful nature. The aforementioned train connection is also a great alternative for the return journey. The Engen adventure pool is a 5-minute bike ride away. Despite our remote location, there are plenty of shopping options nearby (farm shop 400m, supermarkets 1-2km). You are welcome to use our private fire pit with a rotisserie grill or just the fire bowl. Drinking water can be bottled. Outside, there is hose access to our rainwater cistern. There is no toilet or shower on site. Both are available for a fee at the Hegau West rest area 400m away. Electric cars can be charged during the day at our wallbox in the carport for a small fee. A 230V outdoor socket in the carport can be used. Please call or write before arrival to check availability, as our spot can also be reserved through other portals. Unfortunately, advance reservations are only possible with advance payment (PayPal or bank transfer), as there are now people in this community who make reservations and simply don't show up without canceling.
