Pottles Farm Camping

Pottles Farm Camping is a beautiful camp & van site owned by a local farmer who is very friendly & accommodating. Water. Toilet. Hot shower on site. To book simply message or call the number listed in advance of turning up. Turning up unannounced will likely be met with a locked gate or a private event taking place. The camping field is right next to a private motocross track which is only open a few times a year for events. During these times the camp site is closed. The camping field is tucked in a beautiful spot between the woods and a pumpkin patch. The site is generally always quiet aside from a few machinery movements. The views are great over the rolling fields and at times you can see the River Exe and Woodbury. You often see lots of animals like cows, a friendly barn owl and lots of pheasants. There is a rustic (but hot!) shower and 2 fully functioning toilet cubicles with sinks with running water. Drinking water is available on site. The location is very secure with a padlocked gate on entry and there is a dirt track up a slight hill to get to the field. If you're feeling fancy they also have a cute air b&b cabin with a double bed on a raised level, a sofa, single pull-out beds and a wood burner. The location of the site is about 20 min drive from the Exeter and a 30 minute walk to the closest shop. The farmer is usually happy for long stays, offers cheap prices and is super friendly so if you're struggling, I would reach out and see if you can come to an agreement.
