(730 05) Fournes - EO Chanion-Omalou

Small parking lot on the hilltop above the slope leading down to the Gardens. Level parking for 1--2 vehicles; unlevel parking for more. The parking outside the gate appears to be public, that is, not controlled by the Gardens. Little shade and no facilities, but great views and reasonably quiet at night, most of the year. We woke up to a proper road race outside with rally cars, marshals and checkered flags, but that was our bad luck. PS The Gardens are well worth the trip, and the staff were kind and polite.
