Large unpaved area behind the temporary ZF employee parking lot. No prohibition signs. Many trucks park there. On certain days, the gravel area is used for flea markets; otherwise, it's free. A good place to visit the Friedrichshafen Trade Fair if you're traveling by RV, as it's otherwise extremely difficult, if not impossible, to find anything in Friedrichshafen. We stayed there for one night and were completely undisturbed. The area is very clean, so please don't leave anything there and refrain from camping.
