(07926) Gefell - Dobareuth

A lovely place for a picnic or as a place to park for the night. The small town is called Dobareuth and is about 10 minutes by car from the border museum in Mödlareuth, which would also be a nice bike ride. With the consent of the residents, we parked right next to a small but lovely lake, next to a covered seating area with a table, which was great for cooking. It is very quiet at night, but early in the morning two people came for a walk with their dog, but that was no problem. There is a football pitch right here and the residents were very friendly. There are lots of rubbish bins right along the path. Unfortunately, we were hit by a few wasps. As long as the place stays clean and is treated with respect, I can recommend the place.
