A huge parking area in front of the ice rink with direct access to the Isarauen nature reserve. This is the third entrance (just after the two entrances for the paved parking lot on Jahnstrasse) that provides access to the huge area in front of the ice rink. You can now also park in the neighboring parking lot, as the signs for cars and buses have been removed. The lot is also used by the city for events. Therefore, it is always occupied at the end of July/beginning of August with a summer festival. There are no utilities or waste disposal facilities. It is very quiet at night. At the back of the lot, you can walk directly into the Isarauen nature reserve, which is a little insider tip. To the side of the lot is the "Blue Bunker," a reference to Geretsried's history as a munitions factory during World War II. Also within walking distance are an ice cream parlor, a bakery, a delicatessen vending machine, and a new indoor swimming pool.
