Huntingdon rest area located in Montérégie Ouest (MRC Haut Saint-Laurent) located less than 17 kilometers from the Canada-American border (New York State). You can spend the day and certainly the night there because no signs prohibit that. Ideal in motorized or mini van. Not recommended with a large trailer. Everything is located along the Trout River at the junction of the Chateauguay. There is no table but a shelter. Bring your chairs. Avoid parking at the water intake. Consider that emergency vehicles must have free access. If the firefighter shows up at the water intake, ask if you are interfering with operations.
