C5 Campground Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park

Free campground right next to the road and the iconic Ninety Mile Beach. There are 19 camp areas spread along the coast, each with around ten spots, and they can easily fit trucks, campervans and motorhomes. Non-flush toilets are available in campgrounds 3, 5, 8 and 9, but there are no bins or water taps, so come prepared, bring your own water and take all your rubbish with you. Leave the place as you’d like to find it. Dogs are allowed only at sites 1–6 and must be kept tied up. If you’re thinking of having a fire, remember you’re inside a national park, so always check current fire restrictions and be mindful, especially if it’s windy.
