Spacious, flat, gravel-free, unmarked parking lot in the middle of the Dettifoss Desert, about 10 km from the famous Falls of the same name on the tarmac road 862. We spent part of the day and it's quiet.
No camping! Overnight stay is only allowed on campsites! This rule applies for all of Iceland!
