After having traveled over 15 countries, most of them in Asia, where a Buddhist monk shared his “mystical” coffee recipes with us, in addition to a few months spent in Italy immersing ourselves into the espresso culture, we fell in love with the complexity and the legends of the famous beverage. One of the myths that particularly struck us is that a shepherd in a remote region of Ethiopia discovered the magical properties of the precious black liquid when his tired old goats ate the wild coffee berries and began to dance. That’s why we have dedicated ourselves to creating a blend that is high in caffeine, twice as much as found in arabica coffee!
